İstatistikte Geometrinin Uygulanması

Abstract

Bu tez yedi bölümden oluşur. Birinci bölümde tezin amaçları ile ilişkili olarak bir giriş verilir. İkinci bölümde geometrinin istatistik alanında kullanımına dair yapılan çalışmalar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde hipotez testleri için geometrik bir bakış ortaya konur. Dördüncü bölümde üç bileşene sahip olan ikili örneklemler durumu için bazı geometrik yorumlar vardır. Böylece ele alınan konular daha açık bir hale gelir. Beşinci bölümde t- testi için farklı bir geometrik yaklaşım ele alınır. Altıncı bölüm bağımsız örneklemlerin bir uygulamasını içerir. Son bölümde basit regresyon analizi için bazı bilgiler ve geometrik yorumlar sunulur.,

This thesis consists of seven chapters. In the first chapter, an introduction regarding to the aims of this thesis is given. The second chapter, it is given inormation about the studies made on the useage of geometric in the field of statistics. The third chapter, a geometric approximation for testing hypothehes is introduced. In the fourth chapter, some geometric interpretations are given for paired sample case having three components. Therefore, treated subjects become clearer. In the fifth chapter, a geometric view for t-test is given. The sixth chapter includes an application of indepented samples. In the last chapter, some information and geometric interpratations for simple regression analysis are presented.
