2015-2016 yıllarında yürütülen bu çalışma, kiraz için anaç adayı olabilecek 3 adet kiraz, 3 adet vişne, 3 adet mahlep genotipi ile Gisela 6 ve SL 64 anaçlarının in vitro koşullarda çoğaltılabilme performanslarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bitkisel materyal olarak kiraz, vişne, mahlep genotipleri ile Gisela 6 ve SL 64 anaçlarının sürgün uçlarından hazırlanan eksplantlar başlangıç aşamasında 0.5 mgl-1 BAP + 0.1 mgl-1 GA3 + 0.1 mgl-1 IBA içeren MS besi ortamına dikilerek kültüre alınmıştır. Enfeksiyon oranı kiraz genotiplerinde %12.03-17.87, vişne genotiplerinde %22.30-26.23 ve mahlep genotiplerinde ise %18.57-29.07 arasında gerçekleşmiştir.
Sürgün çoğaltma aşamasında farklı BAP (0, 0.5 ve 1 mgl-1) dozlarının etkisi belirlenmiştir. BAP dozunun artması ile sürgün sayısının arttığı belirlenirken, en fazla sürgün sayısı 1 mgl-1 BAP dozundan elde edilmiştir. Sürgün sayısı kiraz genotiplerinde 2.14-4.10, vişne genotiplerinde 2.73-3.09 ve mahlep genotiplerinde ise 1.97-2.55 adet olarak belirlenmiştir.
Köklendirme aşamasında ½ MS besi ortamındaki farklı IBA (0, 0.5, 1 ve 2 mgl-1) dozlarının köklenme oranına etkisi incelenmiştir. IBA dozunun artması ile köklenme oranının arttığı tespit edilmiş olup en fazla köklenme oranı kiraz ve mahlep genotiplerinde 2 mgl-1 IBA, vişne genotiplerinde ise en fazla 1 mgl-1 IBA dozundan elde edilmiştir.
