Uzaktan Eğitimde Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Uygulamalarının Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin Görüşleri Çerçevesinde İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin uzaktan eğitim sürecinde ölçme ve değerlendirme uygulamalarına ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Giresun ili merkez ilçesindeki 5 ilkokulda görev yapmakta olan 14 kadın, 16 erkek olmak üzere toplam 30 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri alan yazın taraması yapılarak uzmanlarla yapılan görüşmeler sonrasında oluşturulmuş 4 açık uçlu sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında ses kayıtları ve notlar alınmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ilk olarak kodlama yapılmış, ana temalar ve alt temalar oluşturulmuş, sağlaması yapılarak raporlaştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğretmenlerin uzaktan eğitimde ölçme değerlendirme işlemini çoğunlukla soru cevap yöntemi kullanarak, ödevlendirme yaparak ve derse katılımlarına göre gerçekleştirdikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcılar ölçme değerlendirmeyi büyük çoğunlukla kazanımların kavranma durumunu kontrol etmek, öğrencilerin seviyelerini görmek için gerçekleştirdikleri belirtmiştir. Katılımcıların ölçme değerlendirmede en çok karşılaştıkları güçlüklerin büyük çoğunluğunun teknoloji kaynaklı, veli kaynaklı ve öğrenciden kaynaklı sorunlar olduğu saptanmıştır. Katılımcılara uzaktan eğitimde ölçme ve değerlendirme süreçlerine ilişkin görüş ve önerileri sorulduğunda yeni bir dijital platform oluşturulması, Web2 araçlarının kullanımın yaygınlaştırılması ve sürecin öğretmen veli işbirliği içinde gerçekleştirilmesi ile ilgili görüş bildirdikleri görülmüştür.

The purpose of this research is to examine the opinions of primary school teachers about measurement and evaluation practices in the distance education process.The sample of the research consists of 30 classroom teachers, 14 female and 16 male, working in 5 primary schools in the central district of Giresun in the 2020-2021 academic year. Case study, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the research. The data of the research was created by scanning the literature, and after the interviews with the experts, they were collected through a semi-structured interview form consisting of 4 open ended questions. Audio recordings and notes were taken in data collection. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. In the analysis of the data, firstly, coding was done, main themes and sub-themes were created and reported by verifying. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the teachers evaluated the measurement and evaluation process in distance education mostly by using the question and answer method, giving homework and observing the students' participation in the lesson. It was understood that the participants mostly carried out assessment and evaluation in order to control the comprehension of the achievements and to determine the level of the students. It was determined that the majority of the difficulties that the participants encountered most in assessment and evaluation were technology-related, parent-based and student-based problems. When the participants were asked for their opinions and suggestions about the measurement and evaluation processes in distance education, it was seen that they expressed their opinions about the creation of a new digital platform, the widespread use of web2 tools, and the realization of the process in cooperation with teachers and parents.
