İzlenimcilik Akımı ve Flüt Repertuvarına Etkileri

Abstract

İzlenimcilik, 19. yüzyılın ikinci yarısı ve 20. yüzyılın ilk çeyreğinde modern sanat akımlarının temellerinin atıldığı, önemli sanatçıların yetiştiği Fransa’da ortaya çıkmış ve etkisi tüm dünyaya yayılmış bir akımdır. İzlenimcilik akımı başta resim sanatı olmak üzere birçok sanat alanında kendini göstermiştir. Fransız besteci Claude Debussy’nin öncülüğünde ise bu akım müzikte de kendine yer bulmuş ve yeni bir dönemin başlamasına sebep olmuştur. Müzikte izlenimciliği yaratan ve çağdaş dönem müziğinin ilk adımlarını atan Debussy’nin müzik stili kendinden sonra gelen bestecilere de örnek olmuştur. Debussy, yapmış olduğu çalışmalarda özellikle mistik bir çalgı olması bakımından flüt çalgısına önemli ölçüde yer vermiştir. Alman çalgı yapımcısı Theobald Boehm’ün flütü geliştirmesi ve değiştirmesinden sonra yeni tasarlanan flütün repertuvar gelişimi hususunda da izlenimcilik akımının önemli katkıları olduğu görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda yeni tasarlanan flüt için Debussy’nin flüt çalışmaları, repertuvarın gelişmesi ve bestecilere öncülük etmesi açısından önemlidir. Müzik tarihinde diğer izlenimcilik akımı bestecileri ise Maurice Ravel, Paul Dukas, Jhon Alden Carpenter, Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, Ottorino Respighi, Albert Roussel, Charles Tomlinson Griffes olarak bilinmektedir. Bu besteciler yapmış oldukları çalışmalarla akıma ve flüt repertuvarına katkı sağlamışlardır. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada izlenimcilik akımı, bu akımın müzikteki etkisi ve bestecileri, izlenimcilik akımının flüt repertuvarına yansıyan çalışmalarının teknik yapıları analiz edilmiş ve teknik zorlukları olan pasajların geliştirilmesi için ilgili teknik egzersizler belirlenmiş ve öneri olarak sunulmuştur. Araştırma betimsel bir çalışma olup, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden genel tarama modeli ile kullanılmıştır.

Impressionism is a movement that emerged in France, where the foundations of modern art movements were laid in the second half of the 19th century and in the first quarter of the 20th century, and where important artists were trained, and its influence spread all over the world. Under the leadership of the French composer Claude Debussy, this movement also found its place in music and caused a new era to begin. Debussy's musical style, who created impressionism in music and took the first steps in contemporary music, set an example for composers who came after him. Debussy's flute studies for the flute, which was also designed for the repertoire development of the newly designed flute, especially after the development and modification of the flute by a mystical instrument maker Theobald Boehm, Debussy's flute studies are important in terms of the development of the repertoire and leading the composers. Other impressionist composers in the history of music are known as Maurice Ravel, Paul Dukas, John Alden Carpenter, Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, Ottorino Respighi, Albert Roussel, Charles Tomlinson Griffes. These composers contributed to the movement and flute repertoire with their works. Therefore, in this study, the technical structures of the works of the Impressionism movement, which are reflected in the flute repertoire, have been analyzed and the relevant technical structures of the exercises for the development of the passages with technical difficulties have been determined and presented as suggestions. The research is a descriptive study and was used with the general survey model, one of the qualitative research methods
