Bu araştırma, çay fabrikalarında işlenerek son ürün (içilebilir çay) haline
gelirken ortaya çıkan çay atığı ile azotlu gübrelemenin, yulafta (Avena sativa L.)
çeşitli bitkisel ve kalite özelliklerine etkisini incelemek üzere tesadif bloklarında
faktöriyel düzenlemelere göre 3 tekerrürlü olarak yürütülmüştür.
Araştırmada, çay atığının 3 dozu (0, 2.5 ve 5 ton/da) ile azotlu gübrelemenin
de 3 dozu (10, 12.5 ve 15 kg/da) Diriliş yulaf (Avena sativa L.) çeşidine etkilerini
belirlemek üzere parsellere uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada, bitki boyu, salkımda
başakçık sayısı, salkım boyu, salkım sayısı, salkımda tane sayısı, salkımda tane
ağırlığı, bin tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi, tane verimi gibi verim öğelerine bakılmıştır.
Ayrıca çalışmada protein oranı, nişasta oranı, yağ oranı, lif oranı, kül oranı ve nem
oranı gibi kalite parametrelerine de bakılmıştır.
Çalışmada, farklı dozda çay atığı ve azotlu gübre uygulanan parsellerde
ortalama olarak bitki boyu 38-91 cm, salkımda başakçık sayısı 37-175 adet, salkım
boyu 12-32 cm, salkım sayısı 850-1161 adet, salkımda tane sayısı 115-480 adet,
salkımda tane ağırlığı 3.20-14.96 g, bin tane ağırlığı 30.26-37.79 g, hasat indeksi
%34.78-64.83, tane verimi 140-859 kg/da, protein oranı %16.79-20.69, nişasta oranı
%32.24-44.07, lif oranı %7.63-10.27, yağ oranı %7.31-8.45, kül oranı %3.16-4.00,
