Cerrahi ve Dahili Servislerinde Çalışan Hemşirelerin Mesleki Profesyonellik Tutumları ve Bakım Rollerine Oryantasyonlarının Belirlenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma, cerrahi ve dahiliye servislerinde çalışan hemşirelerin mesleki profesyonellik tutumları ve bakım rollerine oryantasyonlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı nitelikte yapılan araştırma Ordu il merkezinde bulunan bir kamu hastanesi ve üniversite hastanesinin cerrahi ve dahili birimlerinde çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 198 hemşire ile gerçekleştirildi. Veri toplama aracı olarak ''Kişisel Bilgi Formu'', ''Meslekte Profesyonel Tutum Envanteri'' (MPTE) ve ''Hemşirelik Bakım Rolü Oryantasyon Ölçeği'' (HBROÖ) kullanıldı. Araştırmanın yapılabilmesi için etik kurul onayı ve kurum izinleri alındı. Verilerin analizinde sayı, yüzde, ortalama, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, varyans analizi, pearson korelasyon ve lineer regresyon analizi kullanıldı. Anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 olarak kabul edildi. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin meslekte profesyonel tutumlarının yüksek (138.42±12.28) ve bakım rollerine oryantasyonlarının (82.17±8.22) iyi düzeyde olduğu tespit edildi. Dahili birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin profesyonel tutumları diğer birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerden yüksek ve bu sonuç istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır (p=0.021). HBROÖ "araştırma" alt boyut puan ortalaması ile MPTE ölçek puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı negatif yönde düşük düzeyli ilişki bulundu (r= -0.212, p=0.003). HBROÖ "hemşire/hasta etkileşimi" alt boyut puan ortalaması ile MPTE ölçek puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı, pozitif yönde düşük düzeyli ilişki bulundu (r= 0.172, p=0.015). HBROÖ'nin ''iş birliği'' ve ''otonomi'' alt boyutları puan ortalaması ile MPTE ölçeği puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamadı (p>0.05). Sonuç: Hemşirelerin meslekte profesyonel tutumlarının yüksek ve bakım rollerine oryantasyonlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır.

Aim: This research was carried out to determine the nurses working in internal medicine and surgizal clinics the professionalism attitude at occupation and their orientation of care roles. Material and Method: The research was conducted descriptive nature with 198 nurses who agreed to participate study in the surgical and internal medicine units of a public hospital and university hospital in Ordu city center. The data were collected by using "Questionnaire Form"," Inventory Professional Attitude at Occupation" and "Nursing Care Role Orientation". The necessary ethics committee approval and institutional permission have been obtained for research. The data were analysed with the frequency, percent, independent sample t-test, Pearson correlation and linear regression analysis. A significance level was taken as 0.05. Results: It was determination that the professionalism attitudes of nurses in the occupation were high (138.42±12.28), their orientation to care roles were at the good level (82.17±8.22). Professional attitudes of nurses working in internal medicine units are higher than nurses working in other units and this result is statistically an significant (p=0.021). A statistically significant low-level and negative correlation was found between the mean score of the HBROO research subscale and the mean score of the MPTE scale (r= -0.212 p=0.003). A statistically significany, low-level and positive correlation was found between the mean score of the HBROO nurse/patient interaction subscale and the mean score of the MPTE scale (r= 0.172 p=0.015). No statistically significant relationship was found between the point avarage of the HBROO's "Collaboration and Autonomy" sub-dimensions and the point avarage of the MPTE scale (p>0.05). Conclusions: It was determined that the professionalism attitudes of nurses in the occupation were high and their orientation to care roles were at the goog level.
