Mehmet Eroğlu’nun Romanlarında Postmodern Unsurlar

Abstract

Postmodernizm; modernizmin teorisindeki gerçeklik algısını yıkarak her şeyin kurmaca olduğunu, kuralsızlığı kendine ilke edinen ve yeni bir dönemi başlattığı sürece verilen addır. Postmodernizm, modernizme tepki olarak ortaya çıkmış ve bu karşıtlığın simgesi olarak ‘post’ ön ekinden türemiştir. Postmodernizm 20. Yüzyılda edebiyatta olduğu gibi sanat, düşünce gibi birçok alanda kendini göstermeye başlamıştır. Batı edebiyatında 50’li ve 60’lı yıllarda ilk Fransa’da 70’li yıllarda ABD’de Türk edebiyatında ise 80’li yıllarda ortaya çıkmıştır. Postmodernizm tür olarak ilk roman alanında etkisini göstermeye başlamıştır. Postmodernizmin oluşma sürecinde düşünce olarak Nietzsche ile başladığını söyleyebiliriz. Kendine tanımsızlığı ilke edinen postmodernizm merkezden merkezsizliğe, bütünden parçaya yönelirken kendi düşünce yapısına yerleştirdiği süreksizliği ile hayatın her alanında etkili olduğunu göstermesi ile modernizme karşı açıkça manifesto olarak ortaya çıkmasa bile düşünce yapısı ile modernizme bir meydan okuduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Bu çalışmada, Mehmet Eroğlu’nun romanlarında postmodern unsurlar ve postmodern yanılsamalar açısından incelenip değerlendirilmesi, üstkurmaca metinlerarasılık, imgeler, gerçeklik ve kurmaca, beyin travması, roman içinde farklı edebi tür vb. kavramlar incelenmiştir.

Postmodernizm is the name which is given to the process in which modernizm makes a point that everything is fiction, and makes a point of normlessness by destroying the perception of reality in its theory and starts a New era. Postmodernizm has emerged as a reaction to modernism and it was derived from the prefix 'post' as a symbol of this opposition. Postmodernizm began to stand out in various areas in 20th century as art, philosophy and in literature. In Western literature, its effect was first seen in 1950s and 1960s in France, in 1970s in the USA and in 1980s in Turkish literature, and in the genre of novel. We can declare that Postmodernism emerged with Nietzche as a philosophy in the formation process.We can declare that Postmodernism, which made a point of undefinism, challenges modernism with its philosophy even though Postmodernism did not emerge as a clear manifest to modernism, with its display of its effectiveness in all areas of life, by fronting from the whole to the piece and from the center to acentricism, with its discontinuity it located to its philosophy.In this study, the novels of Mehmet Eroğlu have been evaluated in terms of postmodern elements and postmodern illusions, and the notions such as metafiction, intertextuality, images, reality and fiction, brain trauma, different literal genre in a novel have been examined.
