Abstract:
The present research was conducted at unheated greenhouses on experimental fields of Research and Implementation Center of Ordu University Agricultural Faculty Horticulture Department in 2017 growing season. Effect of different organic wastes on salt tolerance of 41B American grapevine rootstocks grown under saline conditions was investigated. Seven different media (Perlite, tea waste compost, hazelnut husk compost, perlite+hazelnut husk compost, perlite+tea waste compost, tea waste compost+hazelnut husk compost, perlite+tea waste compost+hazelnut husk compost) were used in the experiment. To determine salt tolerance, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, damage degree, leaf K, Ca and Na contents were investigated. It was concluded based on present findings that tea waste compost had positive contributions to salt tolerance of 41B root-stock under saline conditions.
