Sinemada Kadın Ressamların Hayatlarını Anlatan Filmlerin Feminist Açıdan İncelenmesi

Abstract

Sinemanın genel anlamıyla çağına tanıklık eden bir sanat olduğu düşünüldüğünde, toplum içindeki değişiklikler sinemada dâhil her türlü olguyu etkilemekte ve bulunduğu toplumun koşullarından etkilenerek değişimler göstermektedir. “Frida”, “Seraphine” ve “Big Eyes" filmlerindeki kadın karakterlerin hayatları, bulunduğu toplum yapısının bu karakterlere nasıl yansıdığı incelenmektedir. Toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ve toplumsal cinsiyet eşitsizliği de toplumun kültürel, sosyoekonomik, siyasal ve ekonomik yapısına göre değişmektedir. Toplumsal eril yapıda kadın her zaman ikincil plana atılmakta ve bu ataerkil toplumlarda “kadın” sadece ev işlerini yapan, çocuklarına bakan bir araç olarak görülmektedir. Kadın erkek tarafında baskı ve şiddet görmekte ve feminist teoriler tam bu noktada ataerkil topluma karşı bir tavır sergilemektedir. Feminizm, kadının, erkeklerin sahip olduğu haklara kavuşmasını, sosyal ve kültürel yaşamda aktif rol alarak toplumda saygın bir statüye ulaşmasını istemektedir. Feminist film eleştirisiyle bakışın toplumdaki eşitsizliklerin ve kadına yönelik cinsiyetçi ayrımların veya bastırmaların kaynağı olarak görülen ataerkil yapının kadın hayatları üzerindeki etkileri “Frida”, “Seraphine” ve “Big Eyes” filmleri incelenerek ortaya konulmaktadır.

Therefore, it shows changes. Examines the structure of society through the lives of female characters in “Frida”, “Seraphine” and “Big Eyes”. Woman who is communal masculine is always taken backseat and “woman” merely is shown as a tool that does housework, takes care of her children in this patriarchal societies woman is exposed to violence and pressure by man and feminist theories at that point display opposite manner against patriarchal society. Feminism wants to that woman rearch to a respectable status and have to rights that men have already had by effectively participating in social and cultural life. The effects of patriarchal on women’s lives which are accepted as the source of an aspect of the feminist movie criticism inequality in society and sexual discrimination and pressure on women is mentioned by examining the movies “Frida”, “Seraphine” and “Big Eyes”. In conclusion, rewieved ideas, society, education and religion, it is thought to have an effect on men and women roles.
