Şair Tasarımcılar Örneğinde Tipografi Şiir İlişkisi

Abstract

Sürekli olarak ilerleyen teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte oluşan modern iletişim medyası, grafik tasarımın uygulama alanlarını çoğaltmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, geçmişten günümüze kadar gelen toplumsal şiirlerin grafik tasarıma yansıtılma süreci ele alınacaktır. Üç bölümden oluşan bu tezde, toplumsal ve deneysel şiirlerin grafik tasarımı nasıl etkilediği üzerine araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Bütün bunlar bir araya geldiğinde grafik tasarımın kullandığı dil bağlamında, görsel şiir konusunun tasarımda ele alınması bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturacaktır. Nitel araştırma yöntemiyle derlenecek bilgiler, örnek analizleriyle desteklenerek araştırmaya yansıtılmıştır. Literatür tarama kısmında; görsel şiirin grafik tasarıma yansıması üzerine araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Günümüzde bu konu ile ilgili yazılmış bir teze rastlanmamıştır. Bu araştırmada; tipografi ve görsel şiir ilişkisini incelemek, görsel şiirin tipografide yeri ve önemini belirtmek araştırmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Betimsel tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilen araştırmada, sanatçıların sanatı ve yapıtları ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Sanatçıların tasarımlarının incelenebilmesi için öncelikle, sanatçı ile ilgili kısa bilgiler verilmiştir. Daha sonra tasarımları arasından konuya uygun olan örnekler seçilerek yorumlaması yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma, şair tasarımcılar ve şiir çalışmaları ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, sanatçının görsel şiir ve tipografi kullanımına ilişkin tasarımları değerlendirilmiştir. Sanatçının çalışmalarını kurgulayarak görsel şiiri tipografiye dâhil etmesiyle, tasarımlarını oluşturmak için kullandığı malzemeler ve düzenlemeler tipografiye yeni bir boyut kazandırmıştır.

The modern communication media, which is formed by constantly advancing technological developments, increases the application areas of graphic design. In this research, the process of reflecting social poems from the past to the present day on graphic design will be discussed. In this thesis, which consists of three parts, researches were made on how social and experimental poems affected graphic design. When all these come together, the subject of visual poetry in the context of the language used by graphic design will be the aim of this study. The information- compiled with the qualitative research method - was supported by sample analysis and reflected in the research. In the literature review section, researches were made on the reflection of visual poetry on graphic design. There is no thesis written on this subject today. In this research, examining the relationship between typography and visual poetry, specifying the place and importance of visual poetry in typography constitutes the main purpose of the research. In the research carried out with the descriptive scanning model, a literature review was made about the art and works of the artists. In order to examine the designs of the artists, firstly, brief information about the artist was given. Then, the samples suitable for the subject were selected among the designs and their interpretations were made. This research is limited to poet designers and poetry studies. At the end of the research, the artist's designs regarding the use of visual poetry and typography were evaluated. By editing the artist's works and incorporating visual poetry into typography, the materials and arrangements he/she used to create her designs added a new dimension to typography.
