Manastırlı Mehmet Rıfat’ın Hikâyât-I Müntahabe Adlı Eseri ve Tahlili

Abstract

Manastırlı Mehmet Rıfat, I. Meşrutiyet yıllarında yaşamış önemli tiyatro yazarlarındandır. Çocuk eğitimi maksadıyla yazdığı Hikâyât-ı Müntahabe, iki kısımdan oluşur. Eserin ilk kısmında yirmi hikâye, ikinci kısmında ise sekiz hikâye bulunur. Eser, alegorik öğeler içerir. Hikâyât-ı Müntahabe’nin hedef kitlesi ilköğretim seviyesindeki çocuklardır. Eserin dili, içinde bulunduğu döneme göre oldukça sadedir. Eser, çocuk eğitiminde son derece önemli olan davranış eğitimi, karakter gelişimi, okuma yazmanın önemi, kültürlü ve ahlaklı olma gibi konularda ilkokul çağındaki çocuklara rehberlik etmeyi amaçlar. Bu çalışmada amacımız Hikâyât-ı Müntahabe’yi çeşitli yönlerden inceleyip onun değerini gün yüzüne çıkarmaktır.

Manastırlı Mehmet Rifat, who lived in the Meşrutiyet I. was an important writer in the theater. Children's education in order to Hikâyât-ı Müntahabe, consists of two parts. There are twenty stories in the first part of the work. In the second part of the work is eight stories. The work contains allegorical elements. The target audience of the Hikâyât-ı Müntahabe at the level of primary school children. The language of the work is rather plain according to period that it took place. The work is extremely important that children's education, behavior training, character development, the importance of reading to writing, elementary school children on issues such as cultural and moral guidance is intended to be. Our aim in this study is to examine various aspects of the Hikâyât-ı Müntahabe and its value appears.
