Bu çalışmanın amacı yerel mısır genotiplerinin fosfor (P) kullanım etkinliğini belirlemektir.
Bu çalışma, sera koşullarında 30 farklı yerel mısır genotipine üç farklı fosfor dozu (0, 50 ve
100 mg kg-1
) uygulanarak, tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre üç tekerrürlü olarak
yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, mısır bitkisinde, gövde ve kök kuru madde miktarları, P
konsantrasyonları, toplam kaldırılan fosfor, kök uzunluğu ve bitkilerin fosfor kullanım
etkinlikleri (PUE) incelenmiştir.
Araştırmada incelenen parametreler içerisinde, kök fosfor konsantrasyonları üzerine genotip
(P<0.01) ve fosfor dozları (P<0.001) etkisi önemli bulunurken, genotip x doz etkisi ise
önemsiz (p>0.05) bulunmuştur. İncelenen diğer tüm parametrelerde genotip, doz ve genotip x
doz etkisi istatistiki olarak önemli (P<0.001) bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, artan fosfor dozlarına bağlı
olarak incelenen tüm parametrelerde doğrusal bir artış olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Kuru madde ve etkinlik indeksi esas alınarak; 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26
ve 27 numaralı genotipler Etkin Duyarsız; 1, 2, 4, 5, 11, 15, 20, 21 ve 29 numaralı genotipler
Etkin Olmayan Duyarlı; 9, 16, 22, 23, 28 ve 30 numaralı genotipler Etkin Olmayan Duyarsız
olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Bu sonuçlara göre, yerel mısır genotipleri arasında fosfor kullanım
etkinliği açısından önemli farklılıklar vardır.
The purpose of this study was to determine phosphorus (P) use efficiency in local corn
genotypes. For this purpose, three levels of phosphorus (0, 50 and 100 mg kg-1
) were applied
to 30 different local corn genotypes in greenhouse conditions using completely randomized
design with three replications. The study investigated shoot and root dry weight, P
concentration, total P uptake, root length and phosphorus efficiency (PUE) of local corn
genotypes. Among the parameters studied, root phosphorus concentration was significantly
affected by genotypes (P<0.01) and phosphorus levels (P<0.001) whereas genotype x dose
interaction was not significant (P>0.05). In all parameters evaluated, the effect of genotypes,
phosphorus levels and genotype x dose interaction was found to be significant (P<0.001).
Also, in all the studied parameters, a linear increase was determined with the increase in
phosphorus levels.
Based on dry matter production and efficiency index; i) 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19,
24, 25, 26 and 27 number genotypes were classified as efficient and nonresponsive, ii) 1, 2, 4,
5, 11, 15, 20, 21 and 29 number genotypes were classified as non-efficient and responsive,
iii) 9, 16, 22, 23, 28 and 30 number genotypes were classified as non-efficient and
nonresponsive. The results of the present study revealed there were significant differences in
phosphorous use efficiency among local maize genotypes.
