Abstract

Bu tez çalışması dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Geometrik Poisson dağılımının tarihsel gelişimi ile ilgili kısa bir giriş verilmiştir. İkinci Bölümde bazı temel kavramlar ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise tezde ele alınan Geometrik Poisson dağılımı Bileşik Poisson dağılımının özel bir durumu olarak detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde sonuç ve öneriler verilmiştir. Daha sonra ise tezde kullanılan kaynaklar listelenmiştir.,

This thesis consists of four main chapters. It is given an introduction associated with the historical development on Geomtric Poisson Distribution. In Chapter two, some definitions and theorems which are crucial for our study are stated. In Chapter three, it is considered with detailed the Geomtric Poisson Distribution is a particular case of compound Poisson distribution. In the fourth Chapter, it is given some result and propositions. It is listed some references that used in the thesis.
