Bilecik müzesi'ndeki Osmanlı Dönemi sikkeleri

Abstract

Tezimin amacı Bilecik Müzesi envanterine kayıtlı bir grup Osmanlı Sikkesi üzerinde incelemeler yapmaktır. Bu doğrultuda Bilecik Müzesi envanter defterinde incelenmek üzere 87 adet sikke tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen sikkelerin hepsi boyut ve ağırlık ölçüleri alınmış, fotoğrafları çekilmiştir. Daha sonra teknik, malzeme ve süsleme bakımından incelenmiştir. Sikkeler hakkındaki asıl bilgiler katalog kısmında ele alınmıştır. Buradaki bilgiler ışığında gerek dönemi gerek sikkeyi bastıran padişahı gerek darp edildiği yeri vb. özellikleri doğrultusunda üzerindeki süslemeleri tasnif ve tahlil edip bilimsel bir çalışma ortaya çıkarılmak hedeflenmiştir. İncelenen sikkeler içinde bütün Osmanlı padişahlarının sikke örnekleri mevcut değildir. Osmanlı padişahlarından I. Murat, I. Bayezid, I. Mehmed, II. Murad, Kanuni Sultan Süleyman, II. Süleyman, II. Ahmet, III. Ahmet, I. Mahmud, III. Mustafa, II. Mahmud, I. Abdülhamid, Abdülmecid, Abdülaziz, II. Abdülhamid, Sultan V. Mehmed Reşad‟a ait sikkeler mevcuttur. Katalog bölümünden sonra gelen değerlendirme ve sonuç kısmında sikke üzerindeki süsleme kompozisyonları dönem dönem ele alınmış ve en erken tarihli sikkeden en geç tarihli sikkeye kadar değişen, gelişen süsleme motifleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu araştırmanın Osmanlı sikkeleri hakkında yapılan diğer araştırmalara bir katkı sağlayabilmesi en büyük temennimizdir

he purpose of my thesis is to examine a group of Ottoman Coins registered in the Bilecik Museum inventory. Accordingly, 87 coins were identified to be examined in the Bilecik Museum inventory book. Dimensions and weight of all identified coins were taken and photographs were taken. Later, it was examined in terms of technique, material and decoration. Actual information about the coins is covered in the catalog section. In the light of the information here, both the period, the sultan who minted the coin, the place where it was minted, etc. It was aimed to create a scientific study by classifying and analyzing the ornaments on it in line with its features.
