Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Kurdukları Cümlelerde Söz Dizimsel Yapı Görünümleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin kurdukları cümlelerin söz dizimsel yapılarını tespit etmek ve bu doğrultuda Türkçe eğitim ve öğretimine katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analiz edilmesinde doküman inceleme yöntemi ile içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 2018-1019 eğitim öğretim yılının birinci döneminde Ordu ili Çatalpınar ilçesi Atatürk Ortaokulunda öğrenim gören 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilere dört hafta boyunca çeşitli türlerde dörder yazı yazdırılmış ve söz dizimi incelemesi yapılmıştır. Derse giren Türkçe öğretmenlerine “Öğretmen Görüşme Formu” uygulanmış ve öğrenci kâğıtları ile öğretmen görüşlerinin karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler yüzde ve frekans hesabı ile tablolaştırılarak araştırmanın bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre yapılan söz dizimi incelemelerinde sınıf değişkenine göre 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencileri incelenmiş sözcük, kelime grubu, cümle ve cümle ögesini en az kullanan 8. sınıf öğrencileri olurken en fazla 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin kullandığı tespit edilmiştir. Cinsiyet değişkenine göre kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere oranla yazı dilinde daha fazla sözcük, kelime grubu, cümle ve cümle ögesi kullandığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin sınıf ve cinsiyet değişkenine göre hikâye türünde anı türüne oranla daha fazla sözcük, kelime grubu, cümle ve cümle ögesi kullandığı tespit edilmiştir. Uygulanan öğretmen görüşme formu doğrultusunda öğrencilerin kitap okuma alışkanlığı, yazma becerilerini etkileyen en büyük etkenlerden biridir. Öğrencilerin yazma becerilerinin geliştirilmesi amacıyla Türkçe derslerinde yazma çalışmaları yaptırılmalı, öğrencilerin sınıf seviyelerine göre kullandıkları sözcük ve cümle sayılarının arttırılması için okuma alışkanlığı kazanmaları sağlanmalıdır.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the syntactic structures of sentences formed by secondary school students and contribute to Turkish education and training accordingly. Case study pattern one of the qualitative research methods was used in this research. In order to analysis data, content analysis was done by document analysis method. The study group consists of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students studying in the first semester of 2018-2019 academic year at Atatürk Secondary School, Çatalpınar, Ordu. Four texts of various types have been written per week by students for four weeks and syntax is examined. “Teacher Interview Form” was applied to the Turkish teachers who attended the lessons and student papers and teacher opinions were compared. The obtained data were tabulated with percentage and frequency calculations and the findings of the research are reached. According to the finding of the research, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students were examined according to the grade variable, and it is made firm that 7th grade students used the word, phrase, sentence and sentence items most while 8th grade students used them least. It is determined that female students use more words, phrases, sentences and sentence items in written language than male students according to gender variable. In accordance with grade and gender variables, that students use quite more words, phrases, sentences and sentence items in stories than in memoirs is deduced . In line with the applied teacher interview form, students’ reading habit is one of the biggest factors affecting their writing skills. In order to improve students’ writing skills, writing activities should be done by students in Turkish language lessons, and students should gain reading habit to increase the number of words and sentence used according to their grade levels.
