Yaratıcı Konuşma Strstejisinin Öğrencilerin Yaratıcı Konuşmalarına Yansıması: Bir Durum Çalışması

Abstract

Bu araştırma, yaratıcı konuşma stratejisine dayalı etkinlik uygulamalarının ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin yaratıcı konuşmalarına yansımasını ortaya koymak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, bir ortaokulun altıncı sınıf öğrencileriyle yürütülmüştür. Çalışma grubu 21'i erkek, 9'u kız olmak üzere 30 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Etkinlikler tüm sınıfa yönelik olarak uygulanmıştır. Bu araştırmada duruma ilişkin detaylı bir betimleme sunulabilmesi amacıyla geniş bir veri seti geniş bir zaman dilimi dikkate alınarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmada gözlem yöntemi, ses kayıtları, öğrenci ve araştırmacı günlükleri ve ders öğretmeninin notları veri toplama araçları olarak kullanılmıştır. Ses kayıtlarından elde edilen veriler bir nitel veri analiz programı olan MAXQDA 2020 programında analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmış, söylemler "yaratıcılık" ve "yaratıcılığı destekleme" olmak üzere iki kategori altındaki sekiz kod ile kodlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular öğrenci, araştırmacı ve öğretmen günlüklerinden elde edilen verilerle desteklenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; yaratıcı konuşma stratejisine dayalı yaratıcı konuşma etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin yaratıcı konuşmalarını geliştirdiği, öğrencilerin yaratıcılığın tüm boyutlarına uygun fikirler geliştirebildikleri; etkinliklerin öğrencilerin derse ve konuşmaya dair tutumuna, sınıf iklimine ve akran ilişkilerine olumlu katkı sağladığı söylenebilir.

This research is conducted in the purpose of revealing the reflection of creative speeches of the second stage students of activity practises based on creative speech strategy. In the research, there is a use of case study from qualitative research methods. The research is conducted with a set of sixth grade students from a middle-school. The study group is formed of 30 students, being 21 male and 9 girls. The activities are applied for the whole classroom. This research is examined by considering a wide data set and a wide time period, in order to present a detailed depiction of the case. Voice recordings, student and researcher logs and the notes of the class teacher are used as data collection tools in the surveillance method of the research. The data collected from the voice recordings are analyzed in MAXQDA 2020, a qualitative data analysis program. While content analysis is used for the analysis of the data, discourses are coded with eight codes under two categories, "creativeness" and "supporting creativeness". The discoveries that are made are supported with the data collected from student, researcher and teacher logs. In conclusion; it can be said that the creative speech activites based on creative speech strategy can improve students' creative speeches and students can develop ideas that are compatible with all the dimensions of creativeness and that the activities can affect students' attitude towards the lesson and speech, the classroom climate and peer relationships positively.
