Kent Kimliği Ve Kültürel Tasarım Bağlamında Ordu İli İçin Özgün Tasarım Önerileri

Abstract

Kültürel, turistik, hediyelik objeler kentleri temsil etme misyonu ve potansiyeli olan etkili görsel ürünlerdir. Kent kimliği göstergesi olan bu objelerin tasarım ve biçim bakımından kentleri yansıtması beklenmektedir. Kültür ve turizm faaliyetleri yoğun olan dünya ve Türkiye kentlerinde bulunan obje örnekleri incelendiğinde, kentlere özgü etkinliklerin, varlıkların ve müzelerdeki eserlerin obje tasarımlarına esin kaynağı olduğu görülmektedir. Dünyada ve Türkiye’de turistik obje-kent kimliği ilişkisi bağlamında etkili tasarımların sunulduğu kentler bulunmakla birlikte, kimi kentlerde bu etkinin sağlanamadığı görülmektedir. Ordu’da bulunan obje örnekleri incelendiğinde, kentsel etkinliklerin ve varlıkların obje tasarımlarına yansıtılamadığı, kent kimliği göstergesi niteliğinde özgün objeler sunulamadığı gözlemlenmiştir. Turistik, kültürel hediyelik obje ile kent kimliği ilişkisi yeterince doğru kurgulanamamış kentlerden biri de Ordu kentidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ordu kentine özgü, kent kimliğini yansıtan, etkili tasarım önerilerinde bulunmaktır. Ordu ili kültür varlıkları envanterinde bulunan ve obje olarak simgesel ürünlere dönüşme potansiyeli yüksek olan varlıklardan üç tanesi bu araştırma kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Seçilen varlıklar: Kurul Kalesi buluntuları, Yason Burnu alanı ve Rüsumat No: 4 olayıdır. Bu varlıkların seçilmesinin nedeni, kentsel etkinliklerde sürekli gündemde olmalarının yanı sıra henüz kent kimliği göstergesi olarak tasarlanan ürünlere yansıtılamamış olmalarıdır. Seçilen varlıklar üzerinden kent kimliği ve kültürel tasarım bağlamında Ordu kentine özgü, tasarımlar geliştitilerek hediyelik obje biçimlerinden kupa, defter, tişört, kitap desteği elde edilmiştir.

Cultural, touristic and souvenirs are effective visual products with a mission and potential to represent cities. These objects showing urban identity are expected to reflect cities in terms of design and form. There are cities with cultural and tourism activities in the world and Turkey. The events specific to these cities and the artifacts in the museum inspire souvenir designs. There are cities with a true town-object relationship in the world and Turkey. Some cities seem unable to achieve this effect. When the object samples found in Ordu were examined, it was seen that urban activities and assets were not reflected in the object designs and there were no original objects indicating urban identity. Ordu city is one of the cities where the relationship between tourist, cultural gift object and urban identity cannot be established properly. The aim of this study is to present effective design suggestions that reflect the urban identity specific to Ordu city. Within the scope of this study, the assets in the database of cultural assets in Ordu province were examined. Three entities that can be designed and have a high potential to turn into symbolic products have been identified. Selected assets: Kurul Castle finds, Yason Cape area and Rüsumat No: 4 incident. The reason for choosing these assets is that they are constantly on the agenda in urban activities and they are not yet reflected in the products designed as an indicator of urban identity. With the selected assets, designs specific to Ordu City were developed in the context of urban identity and cultural design, and souvenirs such as mugs, notebooks, t-shirts and book decorations were designed.
