2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programındaki Becerilerin 6. Sınıf Ders Kitabına Yansıması

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan becerilerin 6. sınıf ders kitabına yansımasını incelemektir. Çalışma 6. sınıf ders kitabı ve 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı ile sınırlıdır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda 6. sınıf sosyal bilgiler ders kitabı, öğretim programında yer verilen 9 beceri üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın ders kitabı yazarlarına, yazdıkları kitaplara becerilerin nasıl yansıdığını görme olanağı vereceği düşünülmektedir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma modellerinden biri olan doküman analizi deseni kullanılmıştır. 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan becerilerin ders kitabına yansımaları doküman analizi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda ise şu bulgulara ulaşılmıştır: Eleştirel düşünme becerisi, Türkçeyi doğru, güzel ve etkili kullanma becerisi, araştırma becerisi ve politik okuryazarlık becerilerine kitapta yer verilme durumu bakımından yeterli görülmüştür. Girişimcilik ve yenilikçilik becerisine yer verilme durumu ise yetersiz görülmüştür. Zaman ve kronolojiyi algılama becerisi değerlendirme temasında, mekanı algılama becerisi etkinlik ve değerlendirme temasında, harita okuryazarlığı becerisi ise etkinlik, değerlendirme ve görsel temasında yetersiz görülmüştür.

The aim of the study is to examine the reflection of the skills in the 2018 social studies curriculum on the 6th grade textbook. For this aim, the textbook was evaluated based on the 9 skills which given in the curriculum. It is also thought that this study will give textbook authors the possibility to see how the skills are reflected in the books which they write. Document analysis design, one of the qualitative research models, was used in the study. The reflections of the 2018 social studies curriculum skills on the textbook were examined by document analysis method. As a result of the study, the following findings were obtained: The inclusion of critical thinking, correct, beautiful and effective use of Turkish, research and political literacy skills in the book was sufficient. The inclusion of entrepreneurship and innovation skills was deemed insufficient. The ability to perceive time and chronology was found inadequate in the evaluation theme, the ability to perceive space in the activity and evaluation theme, and the map literacy skill in the activity, evaluation and visual theme.
