Rus Gezgin Stremouhov'un Notlarında Buhara (1873-1875)

Abstract

XIX. yüzyılın sonları, Çarlık Rusya’nın Türkistan’ı işgal ettiği dönemlerdi. Bu dönemde, henüz 15 yaşlarında olan Rus soylusu Nikolay Stremouhov, 1873 yılında Buhara Hanlığı üzerine bir yolculuk yapması için devlet tarafından görevlendirildi. Stremouhov, işgal yıllarında Türkistan'a giderken yaşadığı ve gördüğü her şeyi detaylı bir şekilde not almıştır. Bu notlar, henüz çocuk sayılabilecek birisinin gözlemleriyle kadim Buhara Hanlığı’nın okuyucuya aktarılmasını sağlamaktadır ve tezin ana metnini oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca, tezde Buhara Hanlığı’nın tarihsel seyri ve Çarlık Rusya ile olan diplomatik ilişkileri ele alınarak işgal altındaki Buhara Hanlığı genel bağlamda incelenmiştir. “Rus Gezgin Stremouhov’un Notlarından Buhara (1873-1875)” adlı yüksek lisans tezinde, Nikolay Stremouhov’un notları Rusçadan Türkçeye tercüme edilmiştir. Bu çalışma sayesinde, XIX. yüzyılın sonlarında Çarlık Rusya’nın Türkistan’ı işgal ettiği dönemde genç bir Rus soylusunun olaylara bakışı ve Buhara Hanlığı’nın durumu ortaya çıkarılmıştır.

XIX. The end of the century was the year when Tsarist Russia occupied Turkestan. Russian nobleman Nikolay Stremouhov, who was only 15 years old, was appointed by the state to the Khanate of Bukhara in 1873. Stremouhov took note of everything he experienced and saw while going to Turkestan during the occupation years. The main text of our thesis is that the ancient Bukhara Khanate is conveyed to the reader through the notes of someone who could be considered a child during the occupation years. In addition, the course of the Bukhara Khanate in the historical process and its diplomatic relations with Tsarist Russia are also discussed, and the occupied Bukhara Khanate is discussed in a general context. In our master's thesis titled “Bukhara from the Notes of Russian Traveler Stremouhov (1873- 1875)”, Nikolay Stremouhov's notes were translated from Russian to Turkish. Thanks to this study, we can see that in the 19th century, the period when Tsarist Russia occupied Turkestan. At the end of the century, a young Russian nobleman's view of the events and the situation of the Bukhara Khanate were tried to be revealed.
