Abstract: Bu çalışma Vanda kiraz çeşidinin fidan gelişimi üzerine Gisel A5, PHL-A ve Colt kiraz anaçlarının etkisini belirlemek amacı ile yürütülmüştür. Bunun yanı sıra Gisel A5 anacı üzerine aşılı Vanda kiraz çeşidinin diğer anaçlara nazaran daha bodur gelişim gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.,This study indicates the influence of three different cherry rootstocks namely, Gisel A5, PHL-A, and Colt, on the nursery growth of specific kind of cherry species called Vanda. Therefore, many different aspects of Vanda cherry have been investigated, such as; nursery height, trunk diameter species, number of lateral shoots, the length of lateral shoots, the weight of nursery, the weight of fresh leaves, the weight of dry leaves and finally, leaves areas. The results denote that different rootstocks affect the nursery growth of Vanda cherry significantly (p<0.05). The findings indicate that the nursery heights are between 125.7 cm (Gisel A5) and 198.8 cm (Colt), trunk diameters are between 12.8 mm (Gisel A5) and 22.4 mm (Colt), the number of lateral shoots are between 1.1 (PHL-A) and 9.9 (Colt), the length of lateral shoots are between 21.53 cm(Gisel A5) and 42.63 cm (Colt), the weight of nurserys are between 0.5 kg (Gisel A5) and 1.95 kg (Colt), the weight of fresh leaves are between 145.0 g (PHL-A) and 323.0 g (Colt), the weight of dry leaves are between 56.2 g (PHL-A) and 117.5 g (Colt), leaves areas are between 109.2 cm2 (Gisel A5) and 149.7 cm2 (Colt). In conclusion, Colt has the highest influence on the growth of Vanda cherry species compared to other rootstocks. Besides, Gisel A5 rootstock grafted Vanda cherry seems to have dwarf progress compared to other rootstocks.
