Abstract: This study was conducted on 18 native apples and 9 native pear cultivars in Trabzon Centre province (Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey). In these native cultivars, some important pomological traits were determined such as fruit weight, fruit dimensions, total soluble solids contents, stone traits, etc. Fruit weights of apple cultivars were between 60.84 g and 242.24 g, seed weights were between 0.12 and 0.60 g, total soluble solid contents were between 10.50% and 15.00%, and pH values were between 3.27 and 4.89. Fruit weights of pear cultivars were between 93.89 g and 307.40 g, seed weights were between 0.26 and 0.76 g, total soluble solid contents were between 7.00% and 15.00%, and pH values between 3.17 and 4.88. At the end of this study, some native cultivars for apple and pear may be recommended for the next breeding studies.
