Abstract: Systems designed, produced and developed by imitating nature have become an integral part of life and habitats over time. This study is based on the fact that nature still holds many secrets and advice, this study. It was constructed based on a reference to the patterns of leaf venation patterns as a natural proposed solution for urban formations. Inspired by the arrangement and proportions of leaf veins, this study questions the functionality and aesthetics of an urban environment and aims to create an energy-efficient, sustainable and nature-friendly urban order as demanded by the times. It is assumed that the leaves, which are believed to contain the most effective transport system and area management, will also be an optimal reference for urban design. For this purpose, leaf samples of 38 woody broad-leaved plants were collected and photographed in their full entirety and in detail with a microscope between 1mm and 200 mu. From the leaf vein structure obtained from the samples, those suitable for urban setting were selected. In this selection, the methods of fractal analysis and Space Syntax were applied. Considering the functional requirements of a city, the effectiveness of the proposed urban facilities was analyzed with respect to the different functions. The study questioned the superiority of the proposed different urban formations to each other based on different leaf veins. In addition, the proposals were interpreted in accordance with the spatial theories and design principles of Norberg Schulz and Lynch. This study, which aims to bring biomimicry to life in the urban dimension, is seen as an alternative to ensure the healthy development of cities.
