Abstract: Bu araştırma yerli aspir çeşitlerinin kuru koşullarda verim ve bazı kalite performanslarını belirlemek amacıyla 2016 yılında Mayıs-Eylül vejetasyon döneminde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; tohum verimi ve yağ verimi bakımından Dinçer, Remzibey, Yenice çeşitleri öne çıkmıştır.,This research was conducted in May-September vegetation period in 2016 in order to determine the yield and some quality performances of the local safflower varieties in dry conditions. Seven local varieties safflower varieties registered in the study were used. The trial was established as 4 recurrence iterated according to the "randomized blocks trial design". According to the characteristics examined in the study output times are 10.25-11.25 days, flowering times are 82.25-87.5 days, vegetation times are 118-124 days, plant length is 82.37-107.6 cm, number of side branches per plant 5.08-6.93 units, number of plants 7.28-10.43 units, number of seeds per plant 21.97-34.95 units, seed yield is 124.44-292.78 kg/da, 1000 grain weight 38.31-50.29 g raw protein ratio 13.70- 15.42,-37.39, crude oil yield varied between 43.92-103.32 kg/da. When the fatty acids were examined, the highest values were obtained from Balcı varieties with 6.49%Göktürk with stearic acid 2.59%, Olas with 56.87%ole and Yenice with 76.52%linoleic acid. According to the results obtained from the research; Dinçer, Remzibey and Yenice varieties were found to be prominent in terms of seed yield and oil yield.
