1831 Tarihli Nüfus Defterine Göre Akdağ Kazasında Nüfus

Abstract

Osmanlı Devleti’nde modern olarak nitelendirilen ilk nüfus sayımı 18301831 senesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nüfus sayımının bir ürünü olarak ortaya çıkan bu nüfus defterleri, tarih ilminde büyük bir öneme sahiptir. İlgili olduğu dönemin demografik, ekonomik ve sosyolojik yapısı hakkında zengin bilgiler sunan bu defterler ayrıca bölgenin idari yapısı, yerleşim yerlerinin isimleri, şahısların isim ve lakap bilgileri, erkek nüfusun sayısı ve askerlik durumu, doğum ve ölüm tarihleri, nüfus hareketleri gibi birçok konuda bize bilgiler sunmaktadır. Bu bilgilerin yer aldığı 2052 numaralı Akdağmadeni kazasının nüfus defteri de 18301831 yılındaki istatistikleri içerir. Bu defterde yer alan Müslim nüfusla ilgili kayıtların transkripsiyonu yapılarak hem bölge tarihine ışık tutmak hem de nüfus defterleri üzerinde yapılacak çalışmalar kaynak özelliği taşıması amaçlanmıştır.

The first census, which was described as modern in the Ottoman Empire, was carried out in 1830-1831. These census books, which emerged as a product of the census, have a great importance in the history of science. These books provide rich information about the demographic, economic and sociological structure of the period they are related to and also provide us with information on the administrative structure of the region, the names of the settlements, the name and nickname of the individuals, the number of male population and military status, birth and death dates, population movements. The population registry of the Akdağmadeni accident number 2052, which contains this information, also includes statistics in 1830-1831. It is aimed to shed light on the history of the region and to carry out studies on population registers by transcribing the records of Muslim population in this book.
