Fransız Sinemasında 2010-2015 Yılları Arası Tematik Yönelimler

Abstract

Sinemanın doğduğu ülke oluşu ve gerek yeni akımlara öncülük etmesi gerekse hiç bitmeyen sayısız yeniliklerle dünya sinemasının gelişimine ve değişimine yön vermesi ile Fransız Sineması, dünya sinemasında özel bir yere sahiptir. Sinemadaki yol gösterici konumunu hala koruyan, her yıl düzenli olarak gerçekleştirilen çeşitli uluslararası film festivalleri ile gündem belirleyici rolünü sürdüren Fransız Sineması’nda yer alan temalar dikkat çekicidir. Söz konusu temaların diğer ülke sinemalarına yeni konu olanakları için ilham olması kadar tercih edilmelerindeki temel motivasyonlar olarak dönemin sosyo-ekonomik, politik, kültürel ve toplumsal meselelerinin de okunması anlamlı görülmektedir. Çalışmada, örneklemi 2010- 2015 tarihleri arasında gösterime girmiş ve Internet Movie Database’de (IMDb) liste başı olmuş Fransız yapımı ilk üç film olmak üzere seçilen filmlerin temaları yine tematik bir okuma ile analiz edilerek Fransa’da ve dünyada yaşanan gelişmelerin Fransız Sineması’na son dönemlerde hangi öğeleri ile nasıl taşındığı değerlendirilmek istenmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada, toplumun gerçekte yaşadığı sorun ve olayların Fransız Sineması’na ne kadar yansıdığına ilişkin bir kavrayışa da yer verilmek istenmektedir. Fransız Sineması’nın güncel temalarının ele alınmasının hedeflendiği çalışmada, incelemeler doğrultusunda toplumsal ve günlük yaşamda birebir içinde bulunulan temaların yer aldığı gözlemlenmiştir. Filmlerde sıklıkla kapitalizm eleştirilerine yer verilirken; işsizlik, çarpık insan ilişkileri, farklı cinsel yönelimler, önyargılar, farklı din ve kültürdeki insanların bir arada yaşama çabaları, engelli bireylerin yaşamı, iç savaş, göçmenlik, mülteci olma durumu Fransız Sineması’nın güncel temalarını oluşturmaktadır. Genel bir kavrayış ile Fransız Sineması’nın evrensel düzeyde sıradan insanın yaşadığı bu temel sorunlara duyarsız kalmayıp hayata dair meseleleri tema olarak beyaz perdeye taşıdığı anlaşılmaktadır.

French Cinema has a particular place in the World Cinema, it is the country which the cinema was born in and both pioneering new trends and collimating the improvement and evolution of the world cinema with the endless and countless innovations. In French Cinema which is still preserving its leading position and maintaining its agenda setting role with the various international festivals which is annually organized are remarkable. As well as the themes being talked about are inspiration of the new theme opportunities for the other countries’ cinema, studying on socio-economical, political, cultural and social issues of their eras for the basic motivations of their preferability, which is seen significant, either. In this study, sample has been choosen among the films which were released between 2010 and 2015, the first three French production movies became chart-topping in Internet Movie Database (IMDb). Themes of the films have been analyzed with a thematic study and it has been intended to evaluate how the improvements in the world and in France has been carried with which items. In addition, the study includes a conception how the French Cinema reflects the problems and the incidents that the society has been living through. In the study which sets sight on treatment of the current themes in French Cinema, it has been observed that the themes being lived through during the daily and social life, which is included. In those movies, while the capitalism has been mostly taking place; unemployment, twisted human relationship, unusual sexual tendencies, prejudgments, efforts of the people from different religion and culture to live together, lives of disabled people, civil war, immigration, being refugee have constituted the current themes of the French Cinema. With a general conception, it’s understood that the French Cinema doesn’t remain insensitive at the universal level to the basic problems which the ordinary people have been living through and carries the issues related to the life into the screen as a theme.
