Sinematografinin Temel Öğesi Kurgu: “Quentın Tarantıno Filmlerindeki Şiddet Sahneleri Örneği”

Abstract

Sinematografinin temel öğesi kurgu, mekanik olarak önceden planlanmış çekimlerin, ard arda sıralanması ile oluşturulan uyumlu bir bütünün ortaya çıkarılması işlemi olarak teknik, çekimlerin sıralanmasıyla yaratılan anlam açısından diyalektik bir süreçtir. Sinematografik anlamda sinema dilini kurma ve estetik öğeleri uygulama açısından kendine özgü sinemasal üslubu ile Quentin Tarantino’nun filmleri incelemeye değer bulunmaktadır. Yönetmenin sinemasını sinematografik anlatım teknikleriyle analiz edebilmek ve biçimsel düzlemde bu öğeleri nasıl kullanıldığını anlayabilmek için filmlerinde biçimsel öğeleri sinematografik açıdan değerlendirme gereksinimi vardır. Bu nedenle çalışmanın örneklem düzleminde ele alınan filmlerden seçilen şiddet sahnelerinde, sinematografinin temel anlatım öğeleri olan kurgu başta olmak üzere biçimi yaratan öğeler analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Öncelikle sinemada biçimi yaratan temel anlatım öğeleri olan kavrama ilişkin kuramsal tanımlar ve yaklaşımlar incelenmiş, daha sonra ise sinematografik temel öğelerin ilk kullanılış biçimleri ve Hollywood, Sovyet ve Yeni Gerçekçilik, Fransız Yeni Dalga ve Alman Dışavurumculuk sinemalarında sinemasal biçimsel anlatımlardan yola çıkılarak, Quentin Tarantino’nun 1992-2015 yılları arasında yönettiği sinema filmlerinden seçilen şiddet sahneleri, biçimsel açıdan analiz edilmeye çalışılmış ve son olarak araştırmanın değerlendirme ve sonuç bölümüne yer verilmiştir.

The basic element of cinematography is a dialectical process in terms of meaning created by the sequencing of shots, mechanically, as a process of revealing a harmonious whole formed by successive sequencing of pre-planned shots.The films of Quentin Tarantino, which is thought to have a special and remarkable place with the way of using cinematographic meaning to use some basic elements of the cinematic narrative in terms of setting up the cinematic language and applying aesthetic elements, creates the necessity of addressing the study in the sample plane. In order to analyze the cinematography of the director with cinematographic narration techniques and to understand how these elements are used in the formal plane, it is necessary to examine the formal elements in cinematographic terms in their films. For this reason, in the scenes of violence selected from the films discussed in the sample plane of the study, it was tried to analyze the elements that form the form, especially fiction, which are the basic expression elements of cinematography. In the first part, the theoretical definitions and approaches related to the concept, which are the basic expression elements that create the form in cinema, are examined, then the first use of cinematographic basic elements and Quentin Tarantino based on cinematic formative expressions in Hollywood, Soviet and New Realism, French New Wave and German Expressionism. Between 1992 and 2015, the scenes of violence selected from the films directed by the cinema were tried to be analyzed formally, and finally the evaluation and conclusion section of the research was given.
