Özel Yetenekli İlkokul Öğrencilerinin Yaratıcı Düşünme Becerilerinin Bazı Değişkenlere Göre İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, özel yetenekli ilkokul öğrencilerinin yaratıcı düşünme becerilerini bazı değişkenlere göre incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma 2016-2017 eğitim/öğretim yılında Ordu ilinde eğitimine devam etmekte olan özel yetenekli 83 öğrenci (2. 3. ve 4. sınıflar) ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Torrance Yaratıcı Düşünme Testi Şekilsel A Formu uygulanmış olup, öğrencilerin kişisel özelliklerini belirlemek için araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 istatistik programı kullanılmış ve normal dağılım kontrolü Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi ile yapılmıştır. Dağılımın özellikleri incelendikten sonra veriler, Bağımsız t-Testi, Tek Faktörlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) ve Post Hoc-Tukey Testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde ve sonuçların yorumlanmasında %5 anlamlılık düzeyi dikkate alınmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin Torrance Yaratıcı Düşünce Testi Şekilsel A Ölçeği’nden elde ettiği puanlarla özel yeteneklilik alanları, okul öncesi eğitim alma durumu, sınıf ve yaş düzeyleri arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin Torrance Yaratıcı Düşünce Testi Şekilsel A Ölçeği’nden aldıkları puanlarla cinsiyet, anne baba eğitim düzeyi, aile gelir durumu, kardeş sayısı, doğum sırası, okul türü ve anne baba yaşı arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

This study was carried out to examine the creative thinking skills of gifted primary school students according to some variables. The study was carried out with 83 high school students (2nd, 3rd and 4th grades) who are continuing their education in Ordu in 2016-2017 academic year. Descriptive screening model was used in this study. Torrance Creative Thinking Test Figure A was used as data collection tool and personal information form prepared by the researcher was used to determine the personal characteristics of students. SPSS 22.0 statistical program was used to analyze the data and normal distribution control was done by Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. After examining the characteristics of the distribution, the data were analyzed by Independent t-Test, Single Factor Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Post Hoc-Tukey Test. In the analysis of the data and the interpretation of the results, 5% significance level was taken into consideration. At the end of the research, it was found that there was a significant difference between the scores obtained from Torrance Creative Thinking Test and Shape-A Scale and superior ability areas, pre-school education level and class and age levels. In addition, it was found that there was no significant difference between the students' Torrance Creative Thought Test and the Scale A Scale for their gender, parental education level, family income, number of siblings, number of births, type of school and parents' age
