Abstract: It is a well-known fact that raised levels of inflammatory markers are associated with increasing rates of cardiac event in coronary artery disease patients. Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is a systemic inflammation marker that is correlated with mortality and cardiac events in many cardiovascular diseases such as stable coronary artery disease, unstable coronary artery disease, and acute decompensated heart failure. We examined the association between NRL and the complexity of coronary artery disease assessed by SYNTAX score (SS).
