Abstract: Although it was shown that increased basal red cell distribution width (RDW) level is an index of hospitalization and mortality of patient with heart failure (HF), the relationship between RDW and risk of stroke has not been investigated comprehensively Therefore, in this particular study, we aimed to investigate the association between baseline RDW level and the risk of stroke in heart failure patients.
