Scientific methods taken on the term Theoretics to become a doctrine are examined with this study of development of Turkish Music theoretics from past to present. In this context, the topic targeted and discussed the theoretic (doctrinaire) formations of the Turkish Music on a century basis. In this respect, the aforementioned research focused on the present situation and a descriptive method was applied for an origin review. According to the combined findings and remarks, it was observed that the theoretic studies shifted towards a systematic theory approach with time. This study, stemming from the Turkish Music theoretics research, also included the paradigms of the topic such as the developing stages of the Ancient Greece and Medieval Islam and therefore the stages of Ottoman and Turkish Republic. The studies of theoretics that were conducted in these stages are also provided the exact boundaries of the topic. On the way to the conclusion of this study, seeking the systems that were exhibited by the Turkish Music theoretics, which aimed to guide the future generations; it is observed that the Turkish Music theoretics have changed in terms of cultural movements and comprehension while personal approaches shifted towards scientific systematics with the progression of time.en_US
