Abstract: Increasing Islamophobic rhetoric and practices in recent years have led to the idea that this concept has a deeper mental infrastructure. Islamophobia, which is a religious, political, economic and cultural phenomenon, is confronted as a different version of Xenophobia, which is essentially defined as xenophobia, and shows that it has profound philosophical roots. In this respect, the aim of our work is to demonstrate how is based the philosophical infrastructure of the "Islamophobia" concept and how the opposing argument can be established with the help of philosophy.
