Abstract: | Graphene-based nanomaterials have drawn considerable interest due to their unique physicochemical, thermal and mechanical properties including large specific surface area, excellent electrocatalytic activity, good electrical conductivity, high mobility of charge carriers and unique transport performance. Graphene has been a great potential for various researches, such as electrochromic devices, supercapacitors, solar cells and sensing devices. In this study, we describe the preparation of titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) plasma modified graphene with radio frequency (RF)-rotating plasma technique and the biomedical applications of the prepared composite. A graphene/TiO 2 composite was prepared using TiCl 4 by RF-rotating plasma method under optimized plasma conditions. The graphene/TiO 2 composite and pure graphene were characterized by SEM-EDS, XRD, TGA-DSC and FTIR analyses. Then, the use of the composite was shown for electrochemical drug and DNA sensing. |
