İlköğretim Okullarında Zümre Öğretmenler Kurulu Çalışmalarının Etkililiği Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Okuldaki en önemli grup dinamiklerinden biri olan zümre öğretmenleri çalışmaları, aynı şubeleri okutan öğretmenlerin bir araya gelerek yıl boyunca yürütecekleri ortak çalışmaları planladıkları toplantılar ve bu toplantılarda alınan kararların uygulanma süreci olarak ele alınmaktadır. Zümre çalışmalarının etkililiğine ilişkin gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma, nicel araştırma deseninde ve betimsel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Erzurum il merkezinde yer alan resmi ilköğretim okullarında 2011-2012 eğitim öğretim yılında görevli 2 850 öğretmen, örneklem grubunu ise 2011-2012 eğitim öğretim yılında Erzurum’da bulunan resmi ilköğretim okullarından seçkisiz örneklem alma yöntemiyle belirlenen 13 ilköğretim okulunda çalışan, 272 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen görüşlerine göre zümre öğretmenleri toplantılarının etkililik düzeyini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın verileri 272 sınıf öğretmenine dağıtılan anketlerden elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi ve ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenler, zümre çalışmalarının “Genellikle” etkili olduğu görüşündedirler. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler, zümre çalışmalarının “Genellikle” ekip ruhuyla gerçekleştirildiğini belirtmektedirler. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler, okul yöneticilerinin zümre çalışmalarıyla ilgili etkililik düzeyini “Bazen” şeklinde değerlendirmektedirler. Zümre çalışmalarının etkililik düzeyi, cinsiyet değişkeni açısından t testi ile analiz edilmiş, zümre çalışmalarının etkililiği ve okul yöneticisinin etki düzeyi alt boyutlarında kadın öğretmenler lehine, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Varyans analizi sonuçlarına göre, “zümre çalışmalarının etkililiği” ve “zümre öğretmenlerinin takım çalışması düzeyi” alt boyutlarında, 1-10 yıl meslek kıdemi olan öğretmenler ile 11-16 yıl meslek kıdemine sahip öğretmenlerin görüşleri, 1-10 yıl meslek kıdemi olan öğretmenler lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir.

The teachers’ committee meetings as the most important group dynamic at the school, are considered the process of implementation of the teachers who teach the same branches come together and plan joint studies to be carried out throughout the year meetings of decisions taken. The effectiveness of the teachers’ committee meetings is carried out in this research is quantitative research design and the descriptive model was used. The research population is consisted 2. 850 teachers who charged in the city center of Erzurum at the public elementary schools and the sample of the research is 272 initial teachers is determined by using random sampling method from 13 public elementary schools in Erzurum in the 2011-2012 academic year. This study intends to determine the level of effectiveness of the teachers’ committee meetings based on the initial teachers' views. The data was obtained via to the questionnaires were distributed to 272 initial teachers. For the data analysis frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA were used. The opinion is “often” about the effectiveness of teachers’ committeee meetings of teachers adopted. Surveyed teachers evaluate the teachers’ committeee meetings is performed in the spirit of the team as “usually”. Teachers evaluate the level of effectiveness of school managers as “sometimes” related to the teachers’ committee meetings. Effectiveness level of the teachers’ committee meetings in terms of gender was analyzed by using t-test and the effectiveness of teachers’ committee meetings and domain level of school managers sub-dimension in favor of female teachers, statistically significant differences were found. According to the results of variance analysis "the effectiveness of teachers’ committee meetings" and "the level of the teachers teamwork" subscales, the views of teachers who are 1-10 years of seniority and 11-16 years of seniority show a statistically significant difference in favor of the teachers who are 1-10 years of seniority.
