Production of kiwifruit, Actinidia deliciosa (A. Chev.) C.F. Liang et A.R. Fergusson, (Actinidiaceae) has been dramatically increasing in Turkey, especially in Eastern Black Sea region over the last several decades. Kiwifruit is a relatively new crop to Turkey, but several pests were recorded on kiwifruit within this period and threatened the production. Many of the known pests, especially scale insects, are found in most production areas. They become more economically important pest group as the kiwifruit plantings have increased and have been of concern to producers. The status of kiwifruit pests in Turkey is reviewed with some new records and discussed in terms of control methods against these pests.en_US
