Abstract: Bu çalışma, 2012-2013 yıllarında yürütülmüş ve Ordu yöresinde 1000-1750 m rakımlar arasında doğal olarak yetişen bazı zambak türlerine ait üstün özellik taşıyan genotipler; kandil sayısı, bitki boyu, çiçek rengi ve kokusu olmak üzere dört kritere göre seçim yapılmıştır. Akkuş Çağman Yaylası, Korgan, Absüt, Beyhurusu, Taşkesiği yaylaları, Yokuşdibi Uzunbacak Mevki, Turnalık Çıtlak Mevkiinde olmak üzere 7 lokasyonda tespit edilen ve her lokasyonda belirlenen 10’ar adet zambak genotipi bu çalışmanın materyalini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda; günümüzde kesme çiçekçilikte kullanılan Lilium longiflorum ve Lilium candidum’a kıyaslandığında Absüt, Akkuş, Korgan, Beyhu ve Taşke lokasyonlarındaki zambak genotiplerinin hepsinin kokusu daha ağır bulunmuştur. Genotipler ıslah çalışmalarıyla iyileştirildikten sonra kesme çiçekçilikte kullanılabilir. Yokuş-9, Beyhu-8, Turna-8, Turna-9, Korgan-1-2-7-10, Akkuş-1-5-6-7, Absüt-1-2-3-4-7-9 ve Taşke-2-3-5-7-8-9-10 genotipleri kesme çiçekçilik açısından ümitvar bulunmuştur. İncelenen zambak genotiplerinin tümü dış mekan süs bitkisi olarak kullanılabilecek niteliktedir.,This research was carried out to determine four different characteristics of some selected lily genotypes naturally grown at altitudes between 1000-1750 meters in Ordu provience in the years of 2012-2013. The characteristics which were considered in detail were: number of flower buds, stem length, flower colour and odor. The seven locations where the genotypes were collected are: Akkuş Çağman Plateau, the plateaus of Absüt, Beyhurusu, Korgan and Taşkesiği in Korgan County, Uzunbacak area of Yokuşdibi and Çitlak area of Turnalık County. Ten plants were taken from each location as research materials. Lilium longiflorum and Lilium candidum have been intensively used as cut flowers secyor for years. All the samples collected from the provience in this research were evaluated in reference to the merit characteristics of the two mentioned species above. The genotypes collected from Aksüt, Akkuş, Korgan, Beyhu and Taşke locations had unpleasant fragrance which is not appriciated in cut flower industry even though the scents is not strong. The odor of these gonotypes can be eliminated or improved by some specific breeding programs. The genotypes Yokuş9, Beyhu-8, Turna-8, Turna-9, Korgan-1-2-7-10, Akkuş-1-5-6-7, Absüt-1-2-3-4-7-9 and Taşke-2-3-5-7-8-9-10 showed some valuable characteristics which can be taken into consideration by lily breeders. On the other hand, all the genotypes evaluated in this research can be easly used as garden plants in the right ecologies.
