Denizli İli Çal İlçesinde Yetiştirilen Cevizlerinin (Juglans Regia L.) Seleksiyon Yolu İle Islahı

Abstract

Çal yöresinde iki yıl süre ile yapılan (2009-2010) ceviz seleksiyon çalışması sırasında 5000’den fazla ceviz ağacı dikkate alınmış ve bunların 129’undan meyve örneği alınmaya değer bulunmuştur. Meyve örneği alınan bu tiplerde önemli meyve özellikleri ile ağaç özellikleri incelenmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirmeler ve tartılı derecelendirme sonucu 25 ceviz tipi ümitvar görülerek seçilmiştir. Seçilen tiplerin meyve ağırlıkları; 10.86gr (20 ÇAL 113) ile 16.28gr (20 ÇAL 129); iç ağırlıkları 5.79 gr (20 ÇAL 034) ile 7.69 gr (20 ÇAL 061); iç oranları %50.00 ile %56.57 arasında bulunmuştur. Seçilen genotiplerin kabuk kalınlıkları; 0.97 mm(20 ÇAL 113) ile 1.68 mm (20 ÇAL 123) arasında değişmiş, yan dallarda meyve tutma oranları %30.00-80.00 arasında değişmiştir. Ümitvar seçilen genotiplerin kül oranları % 0.80 (20 ÇAL 079) ile % 2.00(20 ÇAL 004); protein oranı % 9.22 (20 ÇAL 032) ile 18.81 (20 ÇAL 034); yağ oranları % 47.20 (20 ÇAL 061) ile 80.27 (20 ÇAL 129) arasında değişmiştir. Ayıca tiplerimizde doymuş yağ asitlerinden, palmitik asit % 4,78-8,62 ortalama % 6,55, steraik asit % 1,95-3,53 ortalama % 2,57 oranında tespit edilirken; doymamış yağ asitlerinden oleik asit %13,28-30,97 ortalama %20,54, linoleik asit %47,38-65,98 ortalama %59,52 ve linolenik asit %5,45-13,94 ortalama %10,10 olarak tespit edilmiştir,
