,In this thesis, poly(3-aminophenylboronic acid) was incorporated with carbon nanotubes which have had convenient and good properties from its monomer, 3-aminophenylboronic acid (APBA) on an low-cost electrode material, pencil graphite electrode (PGE) using one-step electropolymerization. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used as electropolymerization method. After determining the optimum polymerization conditions, the coated electrodes were characterized using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). With the findings of EIS, a knowlegde about the conductivity enhancement due to the carbon nanotubes addition into the polymeric network was gained. Also, information about the morphological change and distribution of tubular forms of carbon nanotubes in the polymeric structure was obtained by SEM. In addition, it was benefited from energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). Afterwards, electrochemical behaviors of the so-formed electrodes were investigated in Guanosine solutions by using cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical Guanosine determination was performed by using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Furthermore, experiments related to interferences such as Guanin that can inter with Guanosine signals were carried out. The technique used for this study was also differential pulse voltammetry. Recovery studies were carried out in urine sample with the same method.
