İnsanoğlunun evreni anlama çabası tarihin her döneminde karşılaşılan bir durumdur. Bilimsel gelişmeler sonucu ortaya çıkan yeni bilgiler eşliğinde Avrupa yeni bir döneme girmiştir. Bu dönem, Aydınlanma Dönemi olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Aydınlanma Dönemi ile beraber bilimin gelişmesiyle Skolastik dünya değişmeye başlamıştır. Bu değişmeden etkilenen kurumun başında din gelmektedir. Aydınlanma Dönemi Deist düşünürlerin bilimsel bir din ortaya çıkarmak amacı ile ortaya koydukları çalışmalar, Deist düşüncenin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Deizm, temelde evrene müdahalesi olmayan bir Tanrı tasavvuru sunmaktadır. Evrene müdahalenin reddedilmesi vahiy ve mucizenin imkânı sorununu ortaya çıkartmaktadır. “Deizmin mükemmel Tanrı’sı vahiy ve mucizeye olanak sunar mı?” sorusu tezimizin ana problemini oluşturmaktadır.
Din felsefisinin başlıca konularından olan vahiy ve mucize, Tanrı’nın insan ile kurmuş olduğu bir ilişkinin sonucudur. Teist düşüncede vahiy ve mucize, inanan kişi için bir problem arz etmezken Deist düşünceye sahip bir kişi için imkânsız kavram olarak kabul görmektedir. Deist düşüncenin vahiy ve mucizeyi imkânsız olarak görmesinin temel sebebi insanlara sunmuş oldukları Tanrı inancı ile alakalıdır. Deist Tanrı’nın evren ile olan ilişkisi Deistlerin vahiy ve mucizeye bakış açılarını oluşturmaktadır. Vahiy ve mucizeyi reddeden Deist, Tanrı’dan herhangi bir ilahi mesajı kabul etmeyeceği için ilahi dinleri de reddetmektedir. Günümüzde kendisini deist olarak tanımlayan bir kişi; mükemmel bir Tanrı’nın varlığına inanmakla birlikte, bu Tanrı’nın mükemmel bir evren yarattığına da inanmaktadır fakat insan ile iletişim kurması ve dilediğini yapmasının gerçeğe aykırı olacağını düşünmektedir.
Bu çalışmanın amacı, kendisini “Deist olarak tanımlayan bir kişi için kendi inandığı Tanrı inancı içerisinde vahiy ve mucizeye yer verilebilir mi?” sorusudur. Deist düşünceye göre mükemmel olan Tanrı, her türlü eksiklikten uzak bir varlıktır. Mükemmel bir Tanrı için herhangi bir kısıtlama olmamalıdır. Tanrı’nın göndermiş olduğu vahiy ve göstermiş olduğu mucize, Tanrı’nın mükemmelliğine eksiklik getireceği düşüncesi ile Deist düşüncede kabul görmemiştir. Deizm vahiy ve mucizeyi Tanrı’nın zamanın içerisinde eksiklikleri düzeltmek amacı ile ilahi müdahalesi olarak görmektedir. Biz çalışmamızda Deist Tanrı’nın zamanın en başında vahiy ve mucizeyi yaratmış olabileceği tezi üzerinde duracağız. Deist Tanrı’nın, evreni en başta yaratırken vahiy ve mucizeyi zamanın içerisine yerleştirmiş olabileceğini, yeri ve zamanı geldiğinde ise bu vahiy ve mucizenin gerçekleşmiş olabileceğine değineceğiz. Deist düşüncede Tanrı, en baştan vahiy ve mucizeyi zaman içerisinde yerleştirmiş ise insandan kendi göndermiş olduğu vahye inanmasını bekleyebilir. Bunun sonucunda Deist olduğunu iddia eden bir kişi için de Deist düşüncede din gereklidir ve bu kişiler ibadet ile sorumludurlar. Bu durum, deizmin en temel tezi olan ilahi dinlerin gereksiz olduğunun geçersiz olduğu sonucuna ulaştırmıştır.
The effort of human beings to understand the universe is a situation encountered in every period of history. Europe has entered a new era with new information that emerged as a result of scientific developments. This period was considered as a period of enlightenment. With the development of science with the Enlightenment period, the Skolostic world began to change. Religion is at the beginning of the institution affected by this change. The studies of deist thinkers in order to reveal a scientific religion for the enlightenment period form the basis of deist thought. Deism offers a imagination of a god without intervention in the universe. The rejection of the intervention in the universe reveals the problem of the possibility of revelation and miracle. "Does the perfect God of Deism allow revelation and miracle?" The question constitutes the main problem of our thesis.
Revelation and miracle, one of the main subjects of the philosophy of religion, are the result of a relationship that man has established with God. In the theist thought, revelation and miracle are accepted as an impossible concept for a person who has a deist thought, while not a problem for the believer. The main reason why deist thought sees revelation and miracle as impossible is about the belief of God they offer to people. Deist God's relationship with the universe constitutes the view of the deists' view of revelation and miracle. Deist, who rejects revelation and miracle, rejects divine religions as he will not accept any divine message from God. Today, a person who defines himself as a deist; Although he believes in the existence of a perfect God, he believes that this God created a perfect universe, but he thinks that it would be against the truth to communicate with man and to do whatever he wills.
The aim of this study is to include revelation and miracle for a person who defines himself as a deist in the belief of God he believes? ” is the question. According to deist thought, God, which is perfect, is a being away from any deficiency. There should be no restriction for a perfect god. The revelation of God and the miracle that God has shown was not accepted in deist thought with the idea that God would bring deficiency to the perfection. Deism sees revelation and miracle as a divine intervention in order to correct the deficiencies in time. In our study, we will focus on the thesis that Deist God may have created revelation and miracle at the beginning of the time. The deist will mention that the deist may have placed revelation and miracle in time while creating the universe in the first place, and that this revelation and miracle may have been realized when the place and time comes. If God has placed revelation and miracle over time in deist thought, he may expect him to believe in the revelation he has sent. As a result, for a person who claims to be a deist, religion is required in deist thought and these people are responsible for worship. This concluded that the most basic thesis of Deism, which is the most basic thesis, is invalid that the divine religions are unnecessary.
