Bu araştırmada Giresun İl sınırları içerisinde bulunan 4 balıkçı barınağı, 18 çekek
yeri ve 2 barınma yerinin alt ve üst yapı durumu, tekne sayıları, balıkçıların sosyodemografik
özellikleri ve kullanılan av araçlarının çeşitliliğini belirlemek üzere anket
çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre balıkçı barınaklarının %
100'ünde elektrik, %50'sinde tatlısu, %100'ünde fener, %100'ünde çekekyeri, %
50'sinde ağ tamir yeri, %25'inde ağ kurutma yeri, %75'inde idare binası, %75'inde
tuvalet, %25'inde otopark ve %25'inde kafeterya olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yine 18
adet çekek yeri ve 2 adet barınma yerinin %20'sinde elektrik, %30'unda tatlısu, %
20'sinde rıhtım, %5'inde ağ tamir yeri, %10'unda ağ kurutma sahası ve %30'unda
tuvalet bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Tüm kıyı yapıları ele alındığında ön soğutma
deposu, buz üretim yeri, perakende satış yeri mevcut değildir.,In this research, questionnaires were carried out to determine infrastructural and

characteristics of fishermen and variety of fishing gears. According to research, the

water, 100% lighthouses, 100% board yards, 50% fishing net repair area, 25%
fishing net drying space, 75% administrative building, 7 % toilet, 25% parking area,
25% cafeteria. Again it was found that 18 board yards and 2 portsinclude, 20%
electricity, 30% fresh water, 20% docks, 5% fishing net repair area, 10% fishing net
drying space and 30% toilet. When all coastal structures are considered, there is no
pre-cooling tank, ice production place and retail place.
