1831 nüfus Sayımına Göre Pazarsuyu ve Akköy Kazaları Nüfusu

Abstract

Arşiv belgeleri tarihsel mirasın yeni nesillere aktarılmasını sağlayan en önemli araçlardır. Bu tarihi belgeler ait oldukları toplumların nüfus yapısı, dil, din, etnik yapı, bilim, kültür, sanat gibi maddi ve manevi bütün değerlerini yüzyıllar öncesinden geleceğe taşırlar. Geçmişteki Tarihi olay ve olguların günümüzdeki ispatları olan bu belgeler, dil ve tarih çalışmaları başta olmak üzere bilimsel çalışmalar için büyük önem taşırlar. Bu çalışmanın konusunu, Osmanlı Devleti’ndeki ilk modern nüfus sayımı olarak kabul edilen 1831 nüfus sayımında, Ordu İline bağlı Akköy ve Pazarsuyu Kazalarına ait 1036 ve 1045 numaralı Nüfus Ceride Defterlerindeki nüfus yapısı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu defterlerdeki Müslüman nüfusla ilgili kayıtlar günümüz Türkçesine çevrilmiştir. Yörenin nüfus sayısı ve demografik yapısı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmayla Akköy ve Pazarsuyu Kazalarının nüfus yapısıyla günümüz toplum yapısı arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya çıkarmaktır.

Archive documents are most important factors which provide new generation transmission of historical heritage. These historical docements which they future carrier preheat centuries all materical and moral values of the communities that composed themselves such as population structure, language, religion, ethnic origin, science, culture, arts. These documents which are today proofs of historical events and facts are of great importance for scientific studies, especially language and history studies. İn this study, population structure of 1036 and 1045 numbered Population Registries which belong to the twon ships of Ordu province, Akköy and Pazarsuyu in 1831 census which is considered as the first modern census in Ottoman Empire. There cords about the Muslim Population in these registries have been translated into modern Turkish. The amount of Population and demographic structure of the region have been tried to be revealed with statistical data porividing a better interpretation for the data on these documents. As a result, in this with study it is aimed to provide a contribution to the processes of change in the Population of Akköy and Pazarsuyu town sand the solution on their relationships with the structure of today’s society
