dc.description.abstractBu çalışma Ordu ili Ulubey ilçesinde yetiştirilen ’Tombul’ ve ‘Palaz’ fındık çeşitlerinde bitki dış morofolojik özellikleri ile verim ve bazı kalite parametreleri arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya koymak için 2016 yılında yürütülmüştür. Deneme, tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre ve 3 tekerrürlü olarak düzenlenmiştir. Çalışmada bitki ve meyve özelliklerine ait toplam otuzaltı karakter arasındaki ilşkiler korelasyon ve path analizi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonuçları verim ve kalitenin birçok faktörden doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etkilendiğini göstermiştir. Zuruf ve yaprak özellikleri ve bitki gelişmesine ait özellikler ile verim ve kalite özellikleri arasında bazı önemli ilişkiler belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanında verim ile bitki boyu (0.609**), gövde çevresi (0.769**), toplam çotanak sayısı (0.639**), toplam meyve sayısı (0.928**), boş meyve oranı (-0.764**), meyve hacmi (0.522*), meyve yoğunluğu (-0.582*), iç şekil indeksi (0.574*), iç hacmi (0.491*) ve iç yoğunluğu (-0.597**) arasındaki ilişkilerin önemli olduğu belirlenmiştir. Verim üzerine en yüksek doğrudan etkiye sahip olan özellikler, sırasıyla toplam meyve sayısı (1.048) ile meyve yoğunluğu (0.723) olmuştur. Dolaylı etkilere bakıldığında, bitki boyunun (0.683), gövde çevresinin (0.766), toplam çotanak sayısının (0.700), boş meyve oranının (-0.688) ve iç şekil indeksinin (0.712) toplam meyve sayısı üzerinden verime olan dolaylı etkileri; meyve hacminin (-0.662), iç hacminin (-0.548) ve iç yoğunluğunun da (0.630) meyve yoğunluğu üzerinden verime olan dolaylı etkileri doğrudan etkilerinden daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, incelenen parametreler arasındaki korelasyonlar, özellikle de verim üzerine etkili olan parametreler, fındıkta yapılacak çeşit ıslahı çalışmalarında dikkate alınabilir.,This study was carried out to determine the relationships among the plant external morphological traits with yield and quality using ‘Tombul’ and ‘Palaz’ hazelnut cultivars grown in Ulubey district of Ordu province (Turkey) in 2016. The experimental design was planned according to completely randomized plots with three replicates. Total thirty six traits of plant and fruit characteristics were evaluated for correlation and path analysis. The results showed that yield and quality were influenced by direct and indirect effects of many different traits. Some highly significant correlations were found between husk and leaf traits and plant growth traits with yield and quality traits. In addition, highly significant correlations were determined between yield-plant height (0.609**), yield-trunk girth (0.769**), yieldtotal number of cluster (0.639**), yield-total nut number (0.928**), yield-blank nut raito (-0.764**), yield-nut volume (0.522*), yield-nut density (-0.582*), yield-kernel shape index (0.574*), yield-kernel volume (0.491*) and yield-kernel density (0.597**). Total nut number (1.048) and nut density (0.723) had highest direct positive effects on yield, respectively. Indirect effects of plant height (0.683), trunk girth (0.766), total number of cluster (0.700), blank nut raito (-0.688) and kernel shape index (0.712) via total nut number on yield were more higher than direct effects, and indirect effects of nut volume (-0.662), kernel volume (-0.548) and kernel density (0.630) via nut density on yield were more higher than direct effects. As a result, the correlations between the parameters examined, especially those affecting the yield, could be used in the variety breeding studies in hazelnut.en_US
