Covid-19 Pandemi Sürecinin Filyasyon Ekibinde Çalışan Sağlık Personellerine Psikolojik Etkilerinin İncelenmesi: Bir Karma Yöntem Çalışması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Covid-19 pandemi sürecinin filyasyon ekibinde çalışan sağlık personellerine psikolojik etkilerinin belirlenmesi ve olası etkilerin derinlemesine incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu araştırma açımlayıcı sıralı karma desen olarak, Altınordu İlçe Sağlık Müdürlüğü’nde filyasyon ekibinde çalışan sağlık personelleri üzerinde Şubat 2022- Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın nicel bölümünde, evreni filyasyon ekibinde çalışan 248 sağlık personeli ve örneklemi araştırma kriterlerine uyan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 181 sağlık personeli oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın nitel bölümünde ise, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak, filyasyon sürecinde çalışan 9 farklı meslekten sağlık personeli üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Olayların Etkisi Ölçeği” ve nitel verileri “Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel bölümünde verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; bağımsız iki örnek t testi, Mann Whitney U testi, Varyans analizi, Kruskall Wallis testi, Spearman testi, Pearson ki-kare testi, Yates düzeltmesi testi, Fisher’s exact testi ve lineer regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nitel verilerinin analizinde içerik analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için etik kurul onayı alınmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada sağlık personellerinin “Olayların Etkisi Ölçeği” toplam puanı 25.99±14.19, “Yeniden Yaşama Alt Boyutu” puanı 9.74±6.23, “Kaçınma Alt Boyutu” puanı 11.56±5.57 ve “Aşırı Uyarılma Alt Boyutu” puanı 6.43 ± 4.95 olarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada derinlemesine yapılan görüşmelerde psikolojik etkiler teması altında; korku, kaygı, yalnızlık, uyku sorunları, damgalanma, travma, duygulanımda değişiklik, stres, sosyal ilişkilerde bozulma, yorgunluk ve zorlanma kategorilerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Araştırmada filyasyon sürecinde çalışan sağlık personellerinin yaklaşık üçte birinin pandemiden psikolojik olarak etkilendiği ve sağlık personellerinin korku, kaygı, yalnızlık, uyku sorunları, damgalanma, travma, duygulanımda değişiklik, stres, sosyal ilişkilerde bozulma, yorgunluk ve zorlanma gibi psikolojik etkiler yaşadıkları bulunmuştur.

Aim: This study was carried out to determine the psychological effects of the Covid-19 pandemic process on the healthcare personnel working in the filiation team and to examine the possible effects in depth. Material and Method: This research was carried out as an explanatory sequential mixed design on the health personnel working in the filiation team at Altınordu District Health Directorate between February 2022 and February 2023. In the quantitative part of the study, 248 health personnel working in the filiation team and the sample consisted of 181 health personnel who met the research criteria and agreed to participate in the study. In the qualitative part of the research, the maximum diversity sampling method, one of the purposive sampling methods, was used on 9 different professions working in the filiation process. Quantitative data of the research were collected with “Personal Information Form” and “Effect of Events Scale” and qualitative data with “Semi-Structured Interview Form”. In the evaluation of the data in the quantitative part of the research; Two independent samples t test, Mann Whitney U test, Analysis of variance, Kruskall Wallis test, Spearman test, Pearson chi-square test, Yates correction test, Fisher's exact test and linear regression analysis were used. Content analysis technique was used in the analysis of the qualitative data of the research. Ethics committee approval was obtained for the research. Results: In the study, the health personnel's total score on the "Effect of Events Scale" was 25.99±14.19, the "Re-living Sub-Dimension" score was 9.74±6.23, the "Avoidance Sub-Dimension" score was 11.56±5.57, and the "Over-Arousal Sub-Dimension" score was 6.43 ± 4.95. In the in-depth interviews in the research, under the theme of psychological effects; it was determined that there were categories of fear, anxiety, loneliness, sleep problems, stigma, trauma, change in affect, stress, deterioration in social relations, fatigue and strain. Conclusions: In the study, it was found that approximately one third of the health personnel working during the filiation process were psychologically affected by the pandemic and the health personnel experienced psychological effects such as fear, anxiety, loneliness, sleep problems, stigma, trauma, change in affect, stress, deterioration in social relations, fatigue and strain.
