This study aims to find out what teachers in Turkey think about the High School Geometry Curriculum (HSGC) and it investigates the problems encountered while the program was being applied. For this research, qualitative phenomenological research was conducted. The sample of this study consists of 9 mathematics teachers who currently work at high schools in Ordu, Turkey. Data for the research was obtained with in-depth interviews and have been analyzed via qualitative data analysis software NVivo 9. Results show that the opinions of teachers can be classified as follows: "the effectiveness of HSGC", "flaws of HSGC" and "the faith in the success of HSGC". This paper includes precautions inspired by the results and suggestions for further studies.en_US
