Tarık Buğra’nın Gençliğim Eyvah Romanında Zarf Tümlecini Oluşturan Kelime Grupları

Abstract

Dört bölümden oluşan bu tez çalışmasında Tarık Buğra’nın Gençliğim Eyvah romanında zarf tümlecini oluşturan ilk kelime gruplarının belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Tarık Buğra ve Gençliğim Eyvah romanı hakkında bilgi verildi. İkinci bölümde zarf tümleci kavramı ele alındı. Bu bölümde farklı araştırmacıların zarf tümleci kavramına ait tanımlarına yer verildi. Zarf tümlecinin özellikleri, Gençliğim Eyvah romanı ve söz dizimi kitaplarından alınan örnek cümlelerle pekiştirildi. İhtiyaç olması durumunda özgün örnekler de sunuldu. Sonrasında bu tanımlar ve zarf tümlecinin özelliklerinden hareket edilerek zarf tümleciyle ilgili özgün bir tanımlama yapıldı. Üçüncü bölümde Türkiye Türkçesindeki kelime grupları sıralandı. Bu kelime gruplarının özellikleri yine aynı tür kaynaklardan alınan örnek cümlelerle belirlendi. Kelime gruplarının tasnifi ve isimleri hususunda Leylâ Karahan’ın “Türkçede Söz Dizimi” adlı eseri esas kaynak olarak kullanıldı. Dördüncü bölümde ise zarf tümlecini oluşturan kelime grupları, yapı ve anlama dikkat edilerek incelendi. Zarf tümlecini oluşturan kelime grupları önce ana başlıklara ayrıldı. Daha sonra bu kelime grupları da kendi içerisinde tasnif edildi. İncelemeler sonucunda romandaki 2.932 zarf tümlecinin kelime grubu yapısında olduğu tespit edildi. Romanda zarf tümlecini oluşturan kelime gruplarının: “isim tamlaması, sıfat tamlaması, isim-fiil grubu, sıfat-fiil grubu, zarf-fiil grubu, tekrar grubu, edat grubu, bağlama grubu, birleşik fiil, kısaltma grubu” olmak üzere on tür olduğu saptandı. “Unvan grubu, birleşik isim grubu, ünlem grubu, sayı grubu” kelime gruplarının ise romanda zarf tümlecini oluşturmadığı görüldü. Elde edilen bulgular sayısal verilere döküldü, şekil ve tablolarla somutlaştırıldı.

In this thesis, which consists of four parts, it is aimed to determine the first word groups that form the adverbial clause in Tarık Buğra's novel “Gençliğim Eyvah”. It was given information about Tarık Buğra’s novel “Gençliğim Eyvah” in the first part of the study. In the second part, the term of adverbial clauses was discussed. In this section, it was given definitions of the term adverbial clauses by different researchers. The features of the adverb clause were reinforced with example sentences taken from the novel Gençliğim Eyvah and syntax books. Original examples were also presented in case of need. Then, based on these definitions and the properties of the adverbial clause it was made an authentic definition of the adverbial clause. The word groups in Turkish are listed in the third part. The characteristics of these word groups were determined with sample sentences taken from the same sources. Leylâ Karahan's " Türkçede Söz Dizimi" was used as the main source for the classification and names of word groups. In the fourth chapter, the word groups that form the adverbial clause were examined by paying attention to the structure and meaning. First of all, the word groups that form the adverbial clause were first divided into main headings. Later, these word groups were classified within themselves. As a result of the examinations, it was determined that 2.932 adverbial clauses in the novel are in the word group structure. It was determined that there are ten types of word groups that make up the adverb clause in the novel: "noun phrase, adjective phrase, noun-verb group, adjective-verb group, adverb-verb group, repetition group, preposition group, linking group, compound verb, abbreviation group". It was observed that the word groups "title group, compound noun group, exclamation group, number group" does not form the adverbial clause in the novel. The findings were expressed into numerical data and concretized with figures and tables.
