The study group was 24 prospective teachers attending Ordu University Faculty of Education during 2016-2017 academic year. The participants were determined by using a criterion sampling technique. The findings point out that the structural qualifications, the content and educational purposes are essential for ideal school curriculum. Prospective teachers give priority to personal competence, technical sufficiency and democratic attitudes for ideal school management. The findings also show that value-based communication, solidarity and sustainability are the main characteristics in inter-student communication for ideal school. In addition, it is specified that the teachers should display student-centred attitude, should have professional and personal competences for ideal schools. |
